The next pages take you through the steps to sign up with a volunteer group. You will create a user account and password for yourself then enter profile information such as name, contact information, and relevant skills.
Depending on the groups with which you wish to work, you may be prompted to enter additional information or to upload a digital photo for identification purposes.
When selecting a user id and password:

The user id should follow the convention of First Name.Last Name. If a duplicate ID already exists, insert a middle initial: First Name.MI.Last Name. If this is duplicated, insert a middle initial and a numeric digit at the end:
First Name.MI.LastName#.

The password chosen should be of sufficient complexity so that it is not easily guessed. This includes the following characteristics:

Minimum length of 8 characters comprised of a mixture of 3 of the following 4 elements:

English uppercase characters (A-Z)

Numbers (0-9)

Special characters (such as !, $, #, %)
